ACPAD TURNS YOUR ACOUSTIC GUITAR INTO A FULL STUDIO.

ACPAD is the world’s first wireless MIDI controller for acoustic guitar. Created by musician Robin Sukroso, the ACPAD is currently seeking crowdfunding on Kickstarter and it already earned more than 500% of its €40,000, with still 25 days to go.
The technology consists of a thin plate that can be attached to any acoustic guitar to allow the musician play hundreds of instruments, samples, effects and loops. The accessory was set up to take advantage of the natural position of the arms when playing a guitar, allowing it to be used intuitively and without getting in the way of the song being played.
The plate is made of an adhesive polymer and is only 3.5 mm thick. It can be recharged through a USB port and allows between 4 and 5 hours of continuous use on a single charge. A mini USB input allows connection to a computer by wire or you can simply plug in the USB dongle for wireless use. Its device circuits are made of pure gold and he has eight programmable button, ten different settings, two loopers and two sliders. All are programmable, meaning that the musician is free to add whatever effects they want whenever.

The ACPAD cannot store data, but the user can use any MIDI software or music editor to record their creations. The ACPAD should be available starting June 2016, and can still be purchased as an early-bird special for €249 on their Kickstarter campaign.
